10K Run

General Info

The 10K course, starting and finishing at the Queen Elizabeth Building, is fast and flat along the City’s waterfront making it a great race for setting a PR!

Entry fees are non-refundable unless you meet the specific requirements of our insurer.

You will not be able to defer your entry to another year.

Please note: Bus shuttles are Not available for this event. We suggest using a taxi or TTC to the start area. Parking is available at the Exhibition Grounds.


Specifics

8:00 AM – START – Queen Elizabeth Building.

10K participants must be at least 12 years of age on race day. If under 18 on race day, a doctor’s note must be provided (mailed or scanned/emailed) prior to the event.

In-line skates, roller-skates, skateboards, bicycles, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. For the safety of all participants, iPods and similar audio devices are not recommended.

All participants will receive a bib and technical/wicking shirt. Bibs must be worn on the front and be clearly visible at all times. Canadian and US registrants have the option to have their kit mailed for an additional fee if registered by April 1st.

Aid Station & Timing

Aid stations supplying water, nuun and toilets will be on course approximately every 2.5 km and Start and Finish Lines.

On-Course Aid Station Locations: 1.5 km 4 km 6 km 8 km

SportStats is the official Timer for the Marathon. The BibTag timing system will be used. The course will be marked at every kilometre. Results will be posted online following the race.


Accreditation

The Toronto 10K has been accurately measured and is certified by Athletics Canada and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and meets all international standards.
