Relay Winners

General Information

Put a team together and race against over 100 teams representing the top corporations in Canada. Following the same route as the Marathon, the course is fast, downhill, and scenic. Starting at Yonge and Sheppard in North York and finishing at Exhibition Place, the course takes teams of eight through many of the City’s great neighbourhoods.

Entry fees are non-refundable under all circumstances. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund for any reason and you will not be able to defer your entry to another year.

Relay participants must be at least 18 years of age on race day. Walkers are not permitted in the Marathon. In-line skates, roller-skates, skateboards, bicycles, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. For the safety of all participants, iPods and similar audio devices are not recommended.

All participants will receive a bib and technical shirt. Bibs must be worn on the front and visible at all times. Shirts and bibs must be picked up at the Expo.

We encourage all participants maintain a minimum 7.5-minute/km (12-minute/mile) pace. Participants running slower may be asked to move on to the sidewalk upon course closure and obey normal traffic laws.

Aid Stations & Timing

Aid stations supplying water, Nuun and toilets will be on course approximately every 2.5 km and Start and Finish Lines. Bananas will be available at select stations.

SportStats is the official Timer for the Marathon. The BibTag timing system will be used. The course will be marked at every kilometre, as well as every 5 miles. Split times will be taken at the 21.1 km and 35 km marks. Results will be posted online following the race.

Relay Transfer Points

Relay transfer points are located approximately every 5k and it is the responsibility of each team to get their runners to the proper points. Please see below.

35k –Humber Bay Park East near office
